About us

I am Sarah Wood and I run Easterside Farm Bed and Breakfast. I live here with my husband Alan and 2 daughters Laura and Francesca.

Before moving to Easterside Farm I worked at the Inn at Hawnby for 6 years after successfully completing a City & Guilds in catering.

We have lived at Easterside Farm since 1990, and have been running the B&B since 1991.

Easterside is a real working farm which is managed by my husband Alan. The farm has about 160 breeding ewes which produce Texel cross lambs. We have 2 sheep dogs and 2 black Labradors along with 2 farm cats, and a horse called Bob. We also have a few chickens who’s eggs get served at breakfast.
